Hello C-ville Shooters,
I was out of town for the May Steel match. Special thanks to Steve
Anderson, John Kimball and Chad Rausch (and all the others) for stepping up
to make sure we still had a May match.
It appears all went well. Nice turn-out and good weather for shooting.
I have the count at 37 shooters, and 14 reshoots.
The scores are posted at
www.ohioUSPSA.com and will be sent to Jeff Maass for his website, as
well.
Next month, we have the State USPSA match at Circleville on the third
weekend. So, there will be no monthly USPSA match in JUNE. We have moved
the June Steel match to the 1st Saturday (June 4). So get your Steel guns
cleaned and oiled up (I'll probably just bring my dirty old Glock).
After the steel match, I plan to have a Match meeting for the staff that
will be working the State USPSA match. Mostly to answer any questions and
give an RO-refresher Q and A to those interested.
Also, Rayner's Range has moved their monthly USPSA match to the first Sunday
in June, the 5th. (because of the State match, which is the 3rd weekend of
June) The Rayner's run a fantastic USPSA match. Don't miss out.
And, I wanted to mention that the last USPSA match at C-ville had record
attendance (as far back as I remember). We had 62 shooters.
I want to thank all the shooters for making the C-ville matches the
success that they have become. You are all part of the family. Without
your help and dedication the quality and quantity of the matches would
suffer. I don't want to get too corny on you guys, but I am proud to know
the group of people that make up the competitive shooting community. I
know that I often ask a lot...and, expect a lot...you all deliver. Thank
you for making it all happen. :)
